Quoteface — policy
Cookie Policy
This page lists everything Quoteface stores in your browser, what each item is for, and how to turn the optional ones on and off. Rejecting takes exactly one click, the same as accepting.

The principle we work to
Reject all, Manage and Accept all sit side by side, at the same size, in the same place, on the same screen. No button is styled to be found first. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage runs until you have made a choice, and closing the banner without choosing does not count as consent.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and takes effect immediately.
What we store, and why
We use browser storage in three categories. Only the first runs without your permission.
| Category | What it does | How long | Runs by default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in, protects forms and sign-in from abuse, load balancing, and remembers the cookie choice you made. | Session, except the consent record which is kept for 12 months. | Yes. Without it the service cannot work, so it cannot be switched off. |
| Measurement | Counts page views and completed exports in aggregate, so we can see which parts of the service people actually use. | Up to 12 months. | No. Off until you turn it on. |
| Interface preferences | Remembers your page size, your units, and the proposal you were last working on. | Up to 12 months. | No. Off until you turn it on. |
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run cross-site tracking, and we do not embed social media pixels or third-party advertising tags of any kind.
How to accept, reject or change your choice
- 01On your first visit, the consent bar offers Reject all, Manage and Accept all. Any of the three ends the banner and records your choice.
- 02Manage opens the three categories with a switch for each of the optional two. Save choices records exactly what you selected.
- 03To change your mind later, use Cookie preferences in the footer of any page. The same controls reopen with your current settings.
You can also clear or block storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage will stop you being able to sign in, which is a limitation of how sessions work rather than a choice on our part.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid instruction to run strictly necessary storage only. We record that choice and we do not show you a banner asking you to reconsider it.
We also treat that signal as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information, in the sense those terms have under California law. We do not sell or share personal information in any event.
Third parties
The service depends on a small number of providers, and this is where they can set storage:
- Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for load balancing and for protecting the service from automated abuse.
- Our payment provider sets its own strictly necessary cookies on its own encrypted payment pages, which are the only pages where card details are entered. Its use of storage is governed by its own policy.
- Fonts are self-hosted from this domain. No font service sees your visit.
No third party is permitted to use storage on this site for advertising or for building a profile of you.
Where to read more, and how to complain
The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we hold, why, for how long, and what rights you have over it.
If you are unhappy with how we handle storage or personal data, write to support@hopescoaccounting.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
